TATSU
Japanese legends tell of a fierce battle between two Dragon Lord armies on the peaks of Mount Hotaka. Imprisoned by a wizard's spell, they are locked in a circular arena, destined to fight until one side is completely defeated.
OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME
Defeat the opposing dragon army. You win immediately if:
- All dragons of one opposing type (all Fire, Water, or Vine dragons) are completely destroyed.
- The opponent has no stones left on the board or in their tray.
SETUP
- Each player chooses a color (Black or White).
- Starting Position: Place 3 Vine Dragons (green) on the inner ring of the arena above spaces 1, 2, and 3.
- Tray: Place the remaining 6 stones in the tray on your left.
GAMEPLAY
- Roll: Roll both dice.
- Move: Use dice values separately for two different dragons or combined for one.
- Entry: Dragons enter the arena from the tray via spaces 1-6.
- Movement: Dragons move clockwise on the outer ring.
- Interaction: Landing on your own stone creates a stack. Landing on an opponent triggers the Dragon Power.
DRAGON POWERS
- Vine Dragon (Green): Entangle. Blocks the opponent; they cannot move until your dragon moves away.
- Water Dragon (Blue): Expel. Sends the opponent's stone back to their tray.
- Fire Dragon (Red): Destroy. Permanently removes the opponent's stone from the game.
