'''Vizia''' is a dynamic card game where players aim to score victory points by forming color groups and utilizing special card abilities. Success depends on clever hand management and influencing your opponents' displays.
===Objective===
Score the most points by forming hexagons of 6 tiles and claiming them with your markers.

=== Game Objective ===
Scoring:
Collect the most '''Victory Points'''. Points are awarded for:
* 6 different colors = 3 points
* Sets of cards played in your area (Vizia groups).
* 2 alternating colors = 2 points
* Bonus tokens for having the majority of a specific color.
* any other hexagon = 1 point
* End-game effects from special ability cards.

=== Game Setup ===
Game end:
* Each player starts with a hand of 5 cards.
* a player places all markers OR
* A central market is created with 3 face-up cards.
* all tiles have been played
* The remaining cards form the draw pile.

=== Gameplay ===
The game is played in turns. On your turn, you must perform one of the following three main actions:

==== 1. Gather (Draw Cards) ====
==Game Overview==
* Draw two cards. You can choose from:
Play proceeds clockwise.
** The face-up cards in the market.
** The face-down draw pile.
** A combination of both.
* Refill the market immediately if you take a face-up card.

==== 2. Deploy (Play Cards) ====
A turn consists of:
* Play cards from your hand into your personal area.
# Play tiles (at least 1)
* To score points, cards usually need to be played in groups of at least three of the same color ("trios") or as sequences.
# optionally play additional tiles
* Once a group is deployed, it is considered '''active''' and counts toward your score.
# optionally refill hand
# refill shared display

==== 3. Action (Special Ability) ====
A player may end their turn at any time after playing at least one tile.
Instead of drawing or deploying, you may use the special ability of a card:
* '''Swap:''' Trade a card from your hand with one from an opponent or the market.
* '''Block:''' Prevent an opponent from playing cards of a specific color during their next turn.
* '''Steal:''' Take a card from an opponent's display directly into your hand (often subject to specific conditions).

=== Symbols & Categories ===
Pay attention to these card attributes for your tactical decisions:
* '''Colors:''' Various color categories exist, each with different frequencies and point values.
* '''Numerical Values:''' Determine the strength of the card in comparisons or its position in a sequence.
* '''Action Icons:''' Cards featuring a lightning bolt or hand icon can be used for the "Action" phase instead of being deployed for points.

=== End of Game & Scoring ===
==Turn Structure==
The game ends immediately when the draw pile is exhausted or a player has deployed a specific number of complete color groups (Vizia).
* '''Scoring:'''
** Total the points from your deployed groups.
** Add bonuses for holding the majority of cards in specific colors.
** Subtract points for cards remaining in your hand (depending on the specific variant).

The player with the highest total score is the winner.
===1. Play Tiles===
The active player must play at least 1 tile.

=== Strategic Considerations ===
Tiles may be played from:
* '''Flexibility:''' Keep action cards in your hand to disrupt an opponent's strategy at the perfect moment.
* personal hand
* '''Market Watch:''' Monitor which colors your opponents are collecting to deny them the cards they need.
* shared display
* any combination

Additional tiles may optionally be played.

Placement rules:
* first tile: placed freely
* all further tiles: must be adjacent
* colors must be neighbors on the color wheel

===Color Adjacency===
* Green ↔ Yellow / Blue
* Blue ↔ Green / Purple
* Purple ↔ Blue / Red
* Red ↔ Purple / Orange
* Orange ↔ Red / Yellow
* Yellow ↔ Orange / Green

===2. Complete a Hexagon===
When a hexagon of 6 tiles is completed:
* active player places their marker inside
* marker remains until game end
* multiple hexagons may be completed in one turn

===3. Continue Playing Tiles (Optional)===
The player may:
* play additional tiles
* complete multiple hexagons
* voluntarily end the turn

The turn ends when:
* player stops OR
* no legal placements remain

===4. Refill Hand (Optional)===
After placing tiles, the player may:
* take tiles from the display
* refill up to hand limit
* or skip

Then:
* refill shared display

===5. No Possible Move===
If a player cannot place a tile:
* reveal hand
* turn is skipped
* replace the entire display

==Player Actions==
During your turn:

Required:
* play at least 1 tile

Optional:
* play additional tiles
* use tiles from display
* complete multiple hexagons
* refill hand
* end turn early

If blocked:
* pass (after showing hand)

==Placement Rules (Summary)==
* tiles must be adjacent
* colors must be neighbors
* any number of tiles per turn
* hexagon = exactly 6 tiles
* completing player claims hexagon

==Game End==
The game ends immediately when:
* a player places all markers

OR

* no tiles remain

Then:
* count points
* highest score wins
* tie: most hexagons wins

==Scoring Summary==
* 6 colors = 3 points
* 2 alternating colors = 2 points
* otherwise = 1 point

==Turn Summary==
# play 1+ tiles
# claim completed hexagon(s)
