Objective
Score the most points by forming hexagons of 6 tiles and claiming them with your markers.
Scoring:
- 6 different colors = 3 points
- 2 alternating colors = 2 points
- any other hexagon = 1 point
Game end:
- a player places all markers OR
- all tiles have been played
Game Overview
Play proceeds clockwise.
A turn consists of:
- Play tiles (at least 1)
- optionally play additional tiles
- optionally refill hand
- refill shared display
A player may end their turn at any time after playing at least one tile.
Turn Structure
1. Play Tiles
The active player must play at least 1 tile.
Tiles may be played from:
- personal hand
- shared display
- any combination
Additional tiles may optionally be played.
Placement rules:
- first tile: placed freely
- all further tiles: must be adjacent
- colors must be neighbors on the color wheel
Color Adjacency
- Green ↔ Yellow / Blue
- Blue ↔ Green / Purple
- Purple ↔ Blue / Red
- Red ↔ Purple / Orange
- Orange ↔ Red / Yellow
- Yellow ↔ Orange / Green
2. Complete a Hexagon
When a hexagon of 6 tiles is completed:
- active player places their marker inside
- marker remains until game end
- multiple hexagons may be completed in one turn
3. Continue Playing Tiles (Optional)
The player may:
- play additional tiles
- complete multiple hexagons
- voluntarily end the turn
The turn ends when:
- player stops OR
- no legal placements remain
4. Refill Hand (Optional)
After placing tiles, the player may:
- take tiles from the display
- refill up to hand limit
- or skip
Then:
- refill shared display
5. No Possible Move
If a player cannot place a tile:
- reveal hand
- turn is skipped
- replace the entire display
Player Actions
During your turn:
Required:
- play at least 1 tile
Optional:
- play additional tiles
- use tiles from display
- complete multiple hexagons
- refill hand
- end turn early
If blocked:
- pass (after showing hand)
Placement Rules (Summary)
- tiles must be adjacent
- colors must be neighbors
- any number of tiles per turn
- hexagon = exactly 6 tiles
- completing player claims hexagon
Game End
The game ends immediately when:
- a player places all markers
OR
- no tiles remain
Then:
- count points
- highest score wins
- tie: most hexagons wins
Scoring Summary
- 6 colors = 3 points
- 2 alternating colors = 2 points
- otherwise = 1 point
Turn Summary
- play 1+ tiles
- claim completed hexagon(s)
- optionally play more
- optionally refill hand
- refill display
- next player
