This is a documentation for Board Game Arena: play board games online !

Goal
Build factories that feed on people. Each factory scores the number of humans on the two districts it sits between, multiplied together. The player with the most points at the end wins. Bitcoins you did not spend score one point each.
Setup
- The 6 x 6 city is laid out. Humans start in the game area: 72 people, at least one in every district of the area. The 8 humans outside the area stay in a pool and never go on the board, except through "More people".
- The bulldozer starts on a random district of the area. The shield starts beside the board and comes onto it the first time the police are used.
- Each player takes 10 bitcoins and factories: 15 with 2 players, 14 with 3, 13 with 4. Colours are fixed by turn order: red, blue, yellow, green.
- The starting player is chosen at random.
The game area depends on the number of players:
| Players | Game area | Fence |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 5 x 5, bottom left | 10 roadblocks on its top and right sides |
| 3 | 5 x 6, bottom left | 6 roadblocks on its top side |
| 4 | The whole city | None |
Your turn
| # | Step | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Build a factory (mandatory) | Tap an empty edge between two districts of the game area. Empty edges you can build on are outlined in yellow. The factory is built the moment you tap: there is no Confirm. An edge can hold a factory or a roadblock, never both. |
| 2 | Bribe (optional) | Spend 1 bitcoin for one of four bribes, or press Skip bribe. Right after building, the four bribes appear as buttons in the status bar (greyed out when they cannot be used). Undo takes back the factory you just built, as long as you have not bribed or skipped. You can bribe only once per turn. |
Bribes
Choose a bribe with its button. Tap the targets on the board, then press Confirm. Cancel goes back to the list of bribes.
| Bribe | What it does |
|---|---|
| Police | Tap a district with humans, other than the bulldozer's district. The shield moves there. One human goes to each open neighbour (no roadblock between them). If there are fewer humans than open neighbours, you choose which neighbours get one. |
| Bulldozer | Choose how many humans it takes from its own district: 1 to 5, no more than are there. Then tap a district it can reach by driving straight up, down, left or right. It stops before a roadblock or the edge of the game area, and it cannot drive through more districts than the humans it took. Finally choose how many humans to drop on each district it drives through: at least one on every district, and all the humans it took are dropped. By default each district gets one and the last gets the rest; use the plus and minus buttons to change that. |
| Roadblock | Place one roadblock from the supply on an empty edge between two districts of the game area. |
| More people | Needs 4 humans outside the area. Tap the crossing of four districts inside the game area. Each of the four districts gets one human from outside. |
End of the game
The game ends when the player whose turn it is cannot build a factory: they have none left, or there is no empty edge in the game area. Scores are then added up:
- Each factory: the humans on one side times the humans on the other side.
- Plus one point for each unspent bitcoin.
The highest total wins. Equal totals share the win.
Notes on the rules
- You choose how many humans the bulldozer takes and how many it drops on each district (designer ruling).
- Humans are never held between turns. All the humans the bulldozer took are dropped during its move.
- The shield has no effect on play. It only marks the last district the police visited.
- The rulebook says "play again" for a tie. Here equal totals share the win.
