| In this dice game, players assemble tacos using various ingredients. The goal is to score the most points by completing recipes and strategically using bonus actions. |
Game Sequence
The game is played over a set number of rounds (7 rounds for 2 players, 5 for 3–4, 3 for 5–6). The current player is the active player:
- Rolling: The active player rolls all 6 ingredient dice. They may set aside any dice and reroll the rest.
- Using Symbols: After the final roll, all players simultaneously use the ingredients shown to mark off corresponding items on their 2 taco cards.
- Wilds: Wild symbols on the protein and sauce dice count as any ingredient.
- Extra Cards: If both wilds are rolled, the active player draws an additional card.
- Stealing: If 3 identical ingredients are rolled, the player to the right of the active player may steal one of the active player's incomplete cards.
- Completing Recipes: A card is finished when all ingredients are marked. New cards are drawn from the deck or the Kitchen only at the end of the turn.
- Bonus Actions: Each player has 4 one-time actions, tracked on their bonus card:
- Reroll: Reroll any number of dice.
- Lock: Secure 1 die during another player's turn.
- Discard: Replace an incomplete card without penalty.
- Block: Cancel another player's bonus action.
End of Game & Scoring
The game ends after the final round. Scoring is calculated as follows:
- Total points from completed taco cards (top left corner).
- Subtract points for started but incomplete cards.
- Bonus Ingredients: 1 or 2 extra points for matching symbols on completed cards.
- Bonus Actions: 5 points for each unused action.
In case of a tie, the player with the most sauce ingredients wins.
