OBJECTIVE

Lead your winery to success over 13 years (rounds). Collect points through produced wines, used resources, and a cleverly planned wine tour.

GAMEPLAY (per year)

Each player has a scoring sheet and 3 workers. A worker is available if their row is empty for the current year.

  1. Determine Region & Resource: The leader of the year determines which wine region (L, R, or E) and which resource (C, V, or T) is available to all players.
  2. Choose Actions: Everyone plays simultaneously. Per year, you can assign a maximum of one worker to Viticulture and one to Resources.
    • Enter the letter of the action (e.g., "R" for Right Bank) 1, 2, or 3 times into the row of an available worker.
    • Duration: More letters represent stronger actions (e.g., more valuable/aged wines) but block the worker for the following years.
  3. Passing: If a 3rd worker is available, they must pass (indicated by entering "-").

ACTIONS

  • Make Wine: Circle a wine in the current region. Longer actions (RR instead of R) allow for more valuable wines. Connect the wine to your existing collection using paths.
  • Gain Resources:
    1. Casks (C): Required to be able to produce certain types of wine.
    2. Vines (V): Fill the track from left to right. Filling certain spaces allows you to immediately circle a bonus wine for free.
    3. Trellises (T): Complete full rows to unlock permanent end-game bonus points (e.g., extra points per white wine).

SCORING (after year 13)

Add up your points from the following categories:

  • Wine Tour: 1 point per completed path segment between your wines.
  • Longest Tour: 3 bonus points for the longest continuous path.
  • Casks: 1 point per used cask (+3 points for having used the most casks).
  • Trellises: Points from the unlocked bonus rows.
  • Leader Bonus: 1 point if you were the leader less often than others.
