PLAYER TURN

OPTIONAL ACTIONS (perform any, all, or none)

1) Spend 1 PRIVILEGE (Scroll) to take 1 Non-Gold Token from the board (any Jewel or Pearl Token).

• Can be done any number of times.

2) Replenish ALL empty token spaces on the board (starting in the middle like the setup) => OPPONENT gets 1 Scroll.

• Cannot be done if there are no tokens in the bag.

Optional actions must be performed in the indicated order: you cannot spend 1 Privilege (Scroll) after performing a Replenish action.

MANDATORY ACTION (you must perform only 1 of these)

1) Take up to 3 ADJACENT TOKENS in a contiguous line (diagonal ok).

• Cannot include ANY Gold Tokens.

• Cannot include an empty space.

• The OPPONENT receives 1 Scroll if either all 3 tokens are identical jewels, or there are 2 Pearl tokens.

2) Take 1 GOLD TOKEN from the board + RESERVE 1 JEWEL CARD for later payment (Cannot be done if no Gold present).

• The JEWEL Card can be any shown or the top of any deck (kept secret + MAX of 3 RESERVED CARDS).

• Immediately refill any RESERVED JEWEL CARDS to the pyramid.

3) Purchase 1 JEWEL Card from Pyramid (not deck) or pay to play 1 of your RESERVED JEWEL CARDS.

• Card cost is shown on the bottom left of the card (Bonus Gem helps pay for future card requirements).

• Gold Token is wild and can be used in place of any Gem or Pearl requirement.

• When you acquire your 3rd or 6th Jewel Card with a Crown take a Royal Card as a free action. Royal Cards have different effects that trigger as soon as you receive them.

• Place spent Tokens back into the bag.

END OF PLAYER'S TURN

NOTE: You are limited to 10 Tokens at THE END of your turn; return extras to the bag.

You win IMMEDIATELY if you have fulfilled any of the 3 winning conditions:

• You have >= 20 Prestige Points of any color (Top Left Corner)

• You have >= 10 Crowns.

• You have >= 10 Prestige points on cards of the same color ("copy color" cards count).
