• 3= makes you vulnerable as soon as you get the second token (since the token comes back to the middle and your opponent can pull it to their side right away).
• 5 is more expensive than 4≠, but is a good option if you have 3 different colors claimed and your opponent is blocking the two other colors.

• In technology, you usually want to focus on one specific path because the higher levels trigger all the previous levels. After the third level, it starts to be really good.

• Taking the leadership badge ​ with the diplomacy action gives you no planet moves, so it generally is only done if you need resources or want to draw more cards because you have a bad hand. One of the most common mistakes new players make is overvaluing the leadership badge.
