Welcome to the world of Let's Go! To Japan. This page is not about the placement of the exclamation point, so please stop asking me. This page is about maximizing the placement of your cards, usage of your tokens, and the crushing of your enemies. By which I mean, having the best trip to Japan ever.

Let's begin.

Take walks. It gives you flexibility later in the game, lets you choose which deck you draw from (to optimize train placement) and gives you research tokens.

Use research tokens liberally. Unless you're getting exactly what you want from the draft, use these tokens.

Aim to get all your tokens over the 4 point marker at least.

Put your multiplier HOTD bonuses at the end of your week. And leave flexibility at the beginning of your week so you can get those bonuses. Early week HOTD bonuses are harder to achieve!
