GoFish! May seem a very straightforward and easy game to win, but there are a few tips that can help give you the edge over your opponent.

The Aim is to collect matching sets of cards (Commonly Pairs or Sets of Four)

So, a few key tips that will help you win include:

1. Keep track of what card you have asked your opponent.

Try to not ask your opponent every single card type you have. That will give them an opportunity to take your cards if they get them from the card pile.

2. Keep track of what your opponent has asked, as well as what they have picked up.

Using the sidebar you can see all of the cards they have asked for. It is important to keep track as you may get one of their cards from the 'Go Fish' pile quite a while after they asked for it.

3. Keep track of the number of cards left.

It can give you a huge boost of sets if you manage to hold onto key cards right up until the last 10 or so cards in the deck. That way you can keep making matches and never give your opponent a chance to.

And the fourth most important tip is.... Have fun! Yep! Go Fish isn't that serious (Unless you play with competitive friends) so just ask away and hope that you are the holder of the most sets!
