In the Warp Phase of the game (phase 2), after you choose your Exosuits to power up, don't ignore the importance of the Warp Tiles. You can pick 0-2 tiles secretly. The player who chooses the most will have to roll the Paradox die and can receive 0-2 Paradoxes depending on the roll. If you tie with other players for the most Warp Tiles, you each roll the die! However, as bad of a risk as it can be, choosing Warp Tiles can get you the resources you need for that round to do the things you need to do. You have the rest of the game to "pay them back," but you must have at least one Power Plant (yellow building) to be able to Warp back in time to pay back a single Warp Tile. Doing this advances your Time Tracker for more VP at the end of the game.

It's easy to avoid the risk of the Warp Tiles, sure, and you can win without using Warp Tiles. That said, advanced strategists will certainly leverage the reward of using Warp Tiles to get what they need now while earning VP for time traveling later to re-pay. Don't ignore this crucial strategy.

An issue can occur when playing with just two where your opponent never uses Warp Tiles. If that's the case, you will be the only one rolling the Paradox die and can really get messed up unless you time travel as often as possible or have some way to mitigate the Paradox tokens.
