Tricky Kids
In this trick-taking game for 2-6 players, players take on the roles of children on a playground trading toys and snacks. Since they don't know the actual value of their items, they write the numbers on their cards themselves, aiming to collect the most point tokens.
Gameplay
The game is played over 3 rounds, each consisting of 7 tricks.
- Write Numbers: At the start of each round, players draw 7 cards and write values between 0 and 100 on them.
- Tricky Rules: A rule card is revealed, setting a special condition for the round (e.g., value restrictions or passing rules).
- Playing Tricks: Players must follow suit. If you have a card of the led suit, you must play it.
- Leading: The lead player plays any card from their hand.
- Winning a Trick: The highest-ranked card of the led suit wins the trick. If playing with trump rules, the highest trump card wins.
- Reward: The winner of the trick takes 1 point token and leads the next trick.
End of Game & Scoring
A round ends after 7 tricks. All cards are erased and redistributed for the next round.
- Winner: After 3 rounds, the player with the most point tokens wins. In case of a tie, the player who played the highest-valued card in a trick during the final round wins.
Variants & Options
- Trump Rules: One suit can be designated as trump, outranking all other suits.
- Double Dutch: An advanced variant where two Tricky Rules are active simultaneously.
