Overview

"The Last One" is a card game for 2-6 players, where players are eliminated one by one and the last remaining player wins.

The game uses 99 number cards (1-99) and 6 playing area cards (1 each of ➕ and ➖, 2 each of number 0 and 100).

Gameplay

At the start of the game, each player has 10 cards in hand.

On your turn, you must play 1 card from your hand onto one of the rows. If you place it in the ➕ row, the number on the card you place must be higher than the last card. If you place it in the ➖ row, the number on the card you place must be lower than the last card.

If the color of the card you play matches the color of the other visible card in that row, you activate the following effect:

➕ Row Effect

Draw the top card from the draw pile. If the card underneath has the same symbol as the one you just drew, you may draw another card, until the two cards have different symbols.

➖ Row Effect

Ask the next person in turn for their highest or lowest card, your choice. This person can immediately play a card of the same color in that row to avoid the effect and pass it to the next person in turn. This action can continue until a player cannot (or does not want to) play a card. After handing over the card, it is that player's turn.

Elimination

If you cannot play any cards, you are immediately out of the game; if you play your last card, you are immediately out of the game.

When only one player remains in the game, the game ends and that player wins.
