Game Overview

Dive into a vibrant coral reef that comes to life right before your eyes as you play. Thematically, you act as an explorer striving to discover the most magnificent schools of fish in an ever-changing underwater environment. Mechanically, players take turns placing tiles to expand a shared reef, strategically connecting corals and fish to form large color groups and secure valuable majorities.

Goal of the Game

The objective is to collect the most victory points by strategically placing tiles. Points are awarded for contiguous areas of the same color, surrounding fish with matching corals, and completing specific objective cards.

Gameplay

Preparation

• All tiles (fish and corals) are shuffled face down.
• Each player draws a starting hand (typically 3 tiles).
• A starting tile is placed in the center of the table.

A Turn

On your turn, you must play exactly 1 tile from your hand to the reef. The following rules apply:

1. Placement: At least one side of the new tile must touch a tile already in play.
2. Colors & Symbols: It is beneficial to connect matching colors to expand your scoring zones.
3. Drawing: At the end of the turn, draw a new tile from the facedown stack.

Special Features

• Fish: Fish grant bonus points when they are completely surrounded by corals of the exact same color.
• Bubbles: Some tiles feature bubbles that can trigger special actions or act as multipliers.

Scoring Elements

Element	Points / Effect
Color Groups	The largest contiguous area of each color is scored.
Fish Bonus	A fish fully enclosed by matching corals doubles the points for that specific area.
Objectives	Players who meet the conditions of public objective cards (e.g., "Longest Chain") gain extra points.

Game End & Scoring

• The game ends when all tiles have been placed or no more legal moves can be made.
• Points from color areas, fish bonuses, and objectives are totaled.
• The player with the highest overall score wins the game.
