Rumble Planet

Rumble Planet is a battle-royale board game where players act as contestants in an intergalactic TV show. The goal is to gain the most Fame (Prestige) while the planet crumbles beneath the fighters' feet.

Game Objective

The winner is the player with the most Fame Points (Prestige) at the end of the game. Points are earned by attacking opponents, collecting gear, and surviving in shrinking zones.

Game Setup

  • The board consists of modular areas (zones).
  • Each player chooses a character with unique stats for Hit Points (HP), Movement, and special abilities.
  • Equipment cards (Weapons, Armor, Gadgets) are prepared.

Game Flow

The game is played over several rounds. Each round consists of two main phases:

1. Action Phase (Player Turns)

Players take turns in sequence. During a turn, a player has 3 Actions that can be chosen flexibly from the following options (can be repeated):

  • Move: Move the character up to the maximum movement range of their profile.
  • Search (Loot): Draw an equipment card from the deck or the current space.
  • Attack: Attack an opponent within range (Melee or Ranged).
  • Equip/Use: Put on gear or activate gadgets.
  • Interact: Interact with special terrain tiles or mission objectives.

2. Survival Phase (End of Round)

After all players have finished their turns:

  • The Zone Shrinks: Certain areas of the board are marked as "Danger Zones" or removed. Players in these zones take massive damage.
  • Replenish: New equipment appears on the map.
  • Check Initiative: The turn order for the next round is determined.

Combat & Dice

Combat is usually resolved through dice rolls:

  • Attack Value: The number of dice is determined by the character stat + bonuses from weapons.
  • Defense: The defender uses their base value + armor bonuses.
  • Damage: Each unblocked success reduces the opponent's Hit Points (HP) and grants Fame to the attacker.

Equipment & Symbols

Items are divided into three categories:

  • Weapons (Red): Increase damage or range.
  • Armor (Blue): Protect against incoming damage.
  • Gadgets (Yellow): One-time effects or tactical advantages (e.g., teleportation).

Important symbols on cards:

  • Crosshair: Range of the attack.
  • Lightning Bolt: Immediate effect or bonus action.
  • Shield: Defense bonus.
  • Star: Fame point bonus.

End of Game

The game ends when only one player is left (all others eliminated) or a set number of rounds has been reached. In case of elimination, the survivor does not necessarily win; the victory goes to the player with the highest Prestige score.
