The order of play around the table is adjusted at the start of teams play to ensure alternating players from each team (e.g. Team 1 - Team 2 - Team 1 - Team 2). The order of the player panels and the card play areas are adjusted to reflect the new play order.

If players tie for low card when cutting for deal, the deck is reshuffled and the players cut again.

When playing shorter games, a game end point line is added to the peg board. This line has a "G" at either end. When a player's point scoring peg crosses the game end line, they win the game.

In match play, a line is added to the games won scoring area to show the number of games that need to be won to win the match. When a player's game scoring peg crosses the line, they win the match.

Teams play always uses white and black for the two team colors.
