Tips below are provided by the game's designer.

Overall strategy

Mastering the game requires extensive practice. After 50–100 games, you might still be a beginner, that's normal. You need to play it a lot before you can even begin to think about strategy. But below are some tips that might help you get there faster.

For beginners

Concentrate on getting the middle bonus (scores 6 to 15) and sacrifice the scores 1 to 5 if necessary. Also, do not try to get 19 or 20, since you need to be able to cross out a lot of scores as the game approaches the end. If you get the scores 6 to 15, you'll have 155 points (including bonus). That's a good starting point.

For experienced players

You should always be able to get the middle bonus (otherwise, you're still a beginner).

If your opponents are beginners, it's unlikely that they will get the first bonus (scores 1 to 5), so you can sacrifice the lowest scores if necessary. Instead, secure the scores 16, 17 and 18 (that's 51 points right there). That will land you above 200 points quite easily, which should be enough to win against the beginners.

If you opponents are experienced players, focus on the first bonus (scores 1 to 5) at the beginning of the game. When that is secured, concentrate on the scores 16, 17 and 18 for a while. But don't forget to secure the middle bonus along the way.

For masters

If your opponents are less skilled than yourself, you should focus on the small scores 1 and 2 in the beginning of the game, in parallel with trying to get both 16, 17 and 18. Scores 19 and 20 will probably be crossed out, maybe 17 as well.

If your opponents are in the same league as yourself, you need to try to go for either 19 or 20 in the beginning of the game. At the same time, you need to secure the first bonus (scores 1 to 5). Let each roll decide which "end" of the table you're working on. Always use your second reroll in a very thoughtful way, so you don't accidentally is forced to cross out more than necessary.

Rerolling tips

There are a lot of different ways to achieve the results 7 to 13, while the lower and higher scores might be more tricky. Below are some help.

How to get the highest scores

To get 20, you need to roll ExtraSmallDie1.png ExtraSmallDie1.png ExtraSmallDie1.png ExtraSmallDie1.png ExtraSmallDie1.png. This is the only way to get 20.

To get 19, you need to roll ExtraSmallDie2.png ExtraSmallDie2.png ExtraSmallDie2.png ExtraSmallDie2.png ExtraSmallDie2.png. This is the only way to get 19.

The easiest way to get 18 is to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie2.png's (ones and twos). A much harder way is to roll ExtraSmallDie3.png ExtraSmallDie3.png ExtraSmallDie3.png ExtraSmallDie3.png ExtraSmallDie3.png.

The easiest way to get 17 is to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie3.png's (ones and threes). A much harder way is to roll ExtraSmallDie4.png ExtraSmallDie4.png ExtraSmallDie4.png ExtraSmallDie4.png ExtraSmallDie4.png.

The easiest way to get 16 is to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie4.png's (ones and fours) OR only ExtraSmallDie2.png's and ExtraSmallDie3.png's (twos and threes). A much harder way is to roll ExtraSmallDie5.png ExtraSmallDie5.png ExtraSmallDie5.png ExtraSmallDie5.png ExtraSmallDie5.png.

The easiest way to get 15 is to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's, ExtraSmallDie2.png's and ExtraSmallDie3.png's (ones, twos and threes). Another way is to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie5.png's (ones and fives) OR only ExtraSmallDie2.png's and ExtraSmallDie4.png's (twos and fours). A much harder way is to roll ExtraSmallDie6.png ExtraSmallDie6.png ExtraSmallDie6.png ExtraSmallDie6.png ExtraSmallDie6.png.

The easiest way to get 14 is to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's, ExtraSmallDie2.png's and ExtraSmallDie4.png's (ones, twos and fours). Three other ways are to roll only ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie6.png's (ones and sixes) OR only ExtraSmallDie2.png's and ExtraSmallDie5.png's (twos and fives) OR only ExtraSmallDie3.png's and ExtraSmallDie4.png's (threes and fours).

How to get the lowest scores

To get 1, you need to roll ExtraSmallDie2.png ExtraSmallDie3.png ExtraSmallDie4.png ExtraSmallDie5.png ExtraSmallDie6.png. This is the only way to get 1 (the chance of rolling 1 is still 120 times greater than the chance of rolling 20).

To get 2, you need to roll ExtraSmallDie1.png ExtraSmallDie3.png ExtraSmallDie4.png ExtraSmallDie5.png ExtraSmallDie6.png. This is the only way to get 2.

The easiest way to get 3 is to roll all dice values except ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie2.png's (ones and twos).

The easiest way to get 4 is to roll all dice values except ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie3.png's (ones and threes').

The easiest way to get 5 is to roll all dice values except ExtraSmallDie1.png's and ExtraSmallDie4.png's (ones and fours) OR to roll all dice values except ExtraSmallDie2.png's and ExtraSmallDie3.png's (twos and threes).

The easiest way to get 6 is to roll only ExtraSmallDie4.png's, ExtraSmallDie5.png's and ExtraSmallDie6.png's (fours, fives and sixes).
