- Set up a defense around your own base from long range Emblem attacks before advancing from a left or right flank to lay siege on your opponents base.
- Make sure armies are not isolated on the game board so they cannot be picked off.
- Using the Jumping 4 in an advanced position can be a useful manoeuvre to conquer.
