Very brief rules:
Each piece represents a sailing ship.
Ships can move in the direction of their arrows. They can move as many spaces as the number of dots.
Ships can capture by making a diagonal jump in the direction of their marked corners, one space away. You cannot jump over an enemy piece to capture. Captured ships are removed from the board and replaced by the capturing ship.
The Merchant Ship cannot capture (has no marked corners), but cannot be captured.
