Overview

Welcome to the most exclusive gala night of the year! The most renowned luxury hoarders have already arrived, eager to exchange irresistible offers... and screw each other over to build the best collection of all. We were just waiting for you to start... The Great Split!

In The Great Split, your goal is to build the most prestigious collection of riches.

Each round, you split your hand of cards into two groups, put them into the wallet, and pass to the left player. At the same time, you receive a wallet from the player on your right. When you receive a wallet, you must choose which of the two groups of cards you want to pick, and give back the other. Then the original wallet is returned to you; completing your hand of cards for the round: contain cards you've picked from the player to your right, and those returned to you by the player on your left.

Apply the effects of your cards to add to your collections. If a card shows more than 1 seal icon, you may either apply their effects on the same track or on different tracks. The Splitter Card acts as a wild. The Star Seals with white tails are wild seals and can be applied to any seal track. At any point, you may ignore the icons and advance 1 space either on the Gold Track or the Prestige Track.

Special Spaces (Instant Effects)

When advancing on tracks, you may unlock further advancements if you reach or pass a special space.

Gold Track: If you reach or move past a space with the double arrow icon, you immediately advance 2 space on a SINGLE other track of you choice (not the gold track itself).

Seal Racks: If you reach or pass a space with a Resource icon, you immediately advance 1 space on the corresponding Resource track.

Mid game Scoring (after 3rd and 4th rounds)

There are 4 kinds of Scoring tokens: 3 of them trigger the Tome, Artwork, and Gem Scorings. The fourth scoring token is a blank No Scoring token and has no effect.

When a scoring line is crossed, the 2 scoring tokens placed on it are scored immediately.

Purple Tome: The most advanced space reached or passed with the Prestige value banner is the amount of points you get. The max possible is 10

Brown Artwork: Compare the current level of your Artwork Track with the position of the Market slider shown on the center board.. You gain Prestige points equal to the value show on the Art Market slider. Options are [0, 6, 10, 13, or 15]

Gems Scoring: Only the gem track LEAST advanced gets scored. These gems are considered more rare and valuable to you. Whichever gem scores gets multiplied by 2.

End Game Scoring:

The player with the most Prestige points wins. In case of a tie, the victory is shared... or should we say split?

Points already earned during the game.

Purple Tome: the most advanced space which you've reached or passed with the Prestige value banner is the amount of points you get. The max possible is 10

Brown Artwork: Compare the current level of your Artwork Track with the position of the Market slider shown. You gain Prestige points equal to the value show on the Art Market slider. Options are [0, 6, 10, 13, or 15]

Gem Scoring: Only the gem track LEAST advanced gets scored because these gems are considered more rare and valuable to you. Whichever gem scores gets multiplied by 2.

Contract Scoring for each track: Count the number of icons (including from you character sheet) and multiply by the prestige banner you've reached or passed.

Purple Tome and Brown Artwork: max multiplier is 4

Gems and Coins: max multiplier is 3.
