Goal
Score 40 points over several rounds, or win instantly with a Grand Slam by playing all 10 cards from your hand in a single round.
Setup
You get 10 cards and one Last Chance card, which you can use once per game. With 2 to 4 players, one colour is removed for the whole game, along with all its cards and its die.
A turn
- Roll: all coloured dice are rolled.
- Play a card: play one card from your hand that matches the dice in one of two ways:
- Same value and colour as one die.
- Value equal to the sum of two dice, and colour matching one of those two dice.
- No valid card? You may use your Last Chance to skip the turn and stay in. Otherwise, you crash: you lose all your cards for the round and score 0.
- Stop or More:
- Stop: bank the points on the cards in front of you and sit out the rest of the round.
- More: stay in for the next turn and keep pushing your luck.
The round ends when every player has stopped or crashed. If you stopped, add your banked points to your score. If anyone reaches 40 points, the highest score wins, and ties share the victory.
Card powers
Optional, but you must still be in the round to use them.
- 1: Immediately play one extra valid card, using the dice on the table. If you play another 1, you can use this power again.
- 2: On the next turn, the die of this card's colour is reserved for you. Opponents can't use it.
- 9: After the next roll, turn one die up or down by 1 (6 wraps to 1, and 1 wraps to 6).
- 10: Swap 2 cards from your hand with 2 random cards from an opponent's hand.
- 11: Add the golden die to the next roll for everyone. It can be part of a sum but never used alone.
When several players use powers at the same step, they resolve clockwise from the Start token holder. The Start token passes clockwise every turn.
Differences from the physical game
In the rulebook, players take their turns one after another, clockwise from the Start token holder. On BGA, this is simultaneous to make turn-based games faster:
- Playing a card: You pick your card secretly while everyone else does the same, and all cards are revealed together. You won't see what others are playing that turn before you choose. For example, you won't know whether someone else is already playing an 11.
- Card 1 bonus plays: If you played a 1, you pick your extra card at the same time as anyone else who played a 1, and those cards are also revealed together.
- Card 2: Multiple players can reserve the same die. If so, that die is reserved for all of them.
- Stop or More: You decide at the same time as everyone else, and all choices are revealed together. You can't wait to see what others decide.
- Grand Slam: Since cards are revealed together, two players could empty their hands on the same reveal. If that happens, they share the win.
