Must-follow trick-taking game. The game lasts 3 rounds, with 10 tricks in each round.

The player who wins a trick by playing the highest card takes all the cards from that trick. The player who plays the lowest card, regardless of suit, takes a Chef token. If there is a tie for the highest card, the trick is won by the player who played their card last. If there is a tie for the lowest card, the Chef token is taken by the player who played their card first. Each other player takes a coin.

Before playing a card to a trick, a player may use one or more coins from their supply. Each coin increases or decreases the value of the played card by 2. A card’s value may be higher than 10 or lower than 0.

The suit with the fewest Chef tokens remaining becomes the trump suit. If several suits are tied for the fewest tokens, all of them are trump suits. Once there are no Chef tokens of a particular color left in the supply, that suit can no longer become trump.

At the end of the round, each player reveals their score pile and assigns Chef tokens of the corresponding colors to the cards, starting with the lowest-value cards and proceeding to the highest. Players score points for each star on cards with Chef tokens and for each remaining coin.
