Tips spellbook

All tips are general and for average game situations. If your board or materia pool offers better options, go for it.

Beginning:

Take two random materia to quickly increase your materia pool.

Focus on morning actions since they offer ways to generate materia.

Saving materia for learning spells instead of storing it can generate the same amount of points while providing benefits through better spell levels.

Storing materia can remove undesirable colors from your pool.

The 105 Materia tokens are divided into 7 colors (15 of each color)

Each Materia token also has a rune inscribed on it. There are three different runes in the game: Circle, Triangle, and Square. Each color of Materia has five tokens displaying each type of rune.
