Scoring Guide

Scarabs (green) - Scores individually. A scarab on the edge adjacent to all different family scores 2 points. A scarab in the middle adjacent to all different family scores 3 points.

Weevils (red) - Gain points as a set being in a group horizontally or vertically as below:

Group of 2 - 3 points Group of 3 - 6 points Group of 4 - 10 points

Each weevil can only be counted once.

Ladybug (purple) - Score number of lady bugs not adjacent to another lady bug as below:

2 ladybugs - 1 point 3 ladybugs - 4 points 4 ladybugs - 8 points 5 ladybugs - 15 points

Longhorns (yellow) -

If total number of longhorns is a even number - scores number of longhorn x 2 If total number of longhorns is an odd number - scores number of longhorn x 1

Jewels (blue) - scores when in pairs

Each pair (non-adjacent) - 5 points. More than 2 adjacent to each other - 0 points for all.
