Overview

Play cards to move your Samurai and try to deal 2 damage to your opponent, whilst switching between the Heaven and Earth stances to your advantage

Turn

First, each player secretly picks a 1st and 2nd card

Then reveal both 1st cards and resolve them, before revealing both 2nd cards and resolving them

There are two possible stances: Heaven and Earth

Movement cards played during Heaven Stance are resolved first

Movement cards when in Earth Stance are resolved second

A Movement card cannot move one Samurai beyond another, it can still be played but it will at best move the Samurai so they are adjacent instead

Attack and Special cards are resolved last

If two successful attacks are played, they cancel each other out

If only one successful attack is played, it deals damage to the opponent who flips their card to the damaged side

After all cards are resolved, card 1 is returned to the hand, whilst card 2 is put aside. In a following round, the same will happen, but the set aside card will return to the hand when the new card 2 is set aside

Game End

The game ends when a player takes their 2nd damage, they are defeated and the opponent wins!
