Leading - The first player must not lead a spade or heart, if possible. If not possible (all their cards are spades and/or hearts), they can pick a card and play it face down. [how is this special case followed?]

Following - All players then follow suit, if possible. If not possible, they can play any card.

The winner is determined based on the card rank noted above. The winner collects the cards for their personal score pile for the round.
