Keep an eye on every card your opponent draws. This is critical. To begin, you should not feed them cards that will complete sets. Second, keep cards like the Penguin Sanctuary, Captain, or Lighthouse that allow them to earn multiple points at once.

Try to collect cards that are all the same color. If your opponent calls Last Chance and you do not have the points, you may still be able to earn several points as a result of what you have done.
