HOW TO PLAY SECTION
Card Icons
Objective
Validate Clients by fulfilling their needs (as rolled by the dice) to get them to come into your speakeasy. Collect enough Clients to earn 12 prestige points and be the winner.
Each player starts with one speakeasy card and two Client cards. They begin by placing one Moon token on an available empty Moon token space on their speakeasy card or one of their Clients.
Game Round
- Roll the Dice: The active player rolls 3 white dice. If the active player has obtained access to one or both via a Bonus (as a result of placing Moon tokens and/or validating Clients), they also roll the red die and/or the blue die. The number of arrow icons (
↷) on and under their Speakeasy determines the maximum number of times the player can choose to reroll some or all of their dice.
- Gain Moon Tokens: If any Moon tokens were rolled on the red die and/or the blue die, players with access to that die may gain a corresponding Moon token and immediately place it. If this unlocks a bonus die rolled by the active player, you can now benefit from it. Bonuses need all their spaces covered to unlock the bonus.
- Action:: All players must simultaneously perform 1 of the following actions:
- Validate a Client card (if possible) - You must have the required resources on the dice and/or bonuses and be able to discard as many Moon tokens listed on the Client card. After the Client is validated, draw cards to replace them. You can only validate one Client per turn.
- Take a Moon Token: Take one Moon token and place it on the bonus of your choice.
- Draw Cards - Draw cards and replace one of your Client cards. This is helpful if you have a Client card that is too difficult to complete.
End of Game
At the end of a round, if one or more players reach 12 points, the game ends and the player with the most points wins. On a tie, the player with the most Moon tokens left wins. If still tied, the player with the most validated Client cards wins.
Scoring
This icon gives you 1 point per validated card of the color you have the most. Example: If you have validated 2 green cards and 3 purple cards, this icon gives you 3 points.
Warning: If you validate a second card with this icon, count the cards of your second majority color. If you validate a third card with this icon, count the cards of your third majority color, etc.
In Advance Mode, you can't score your starting speakeasy color cards for the majority scorings (question-symbol icons). If your speakeasy color is your majority, then you score your second majority, etc.

STRATEGY TIPS SECTION
Dice Probability

When you roll a die, you receive the resource it lands on, but all resources earned from rolling dice will disappear at the end of your turn—except Moon tokens, which you get to keep after turn end. If a die lands on a Moon token, you receive a new Moon token to place in any of your vacant Moon token slots (if you have no vacant slots, the new Moon token is lost).
When it is a player's turn to roll dice, the 3 white dice will always be rolled. Every player receives the resources the white dice land on regardless of who rolled them, but the red die and the blue die must be individually obtained using a Bonus (from placing Moon tokens and/or validating Clients) before a player can roll them and benefit from others rolling them.
Each white die has a 50% chance of landing on food, a 33% chance of music, and a 16% chance of drink.
The blue die has a 50% chance of landing on Moon token, a 33% chance of food, and a 16% chance of a wild resource.
The red die has a 33% chance of landing on drink, a 33% chance of a wild resource, a 16% chance of Moon token, and a 16% chance of music.
You cannot roll more than one blue or red die, so there's no reason to get multiples of those bonuses once unlocked.
