Objective

Have the most flower points (FP) after 3 rounds.

Board Overview and Card Types

Each player board can hold 8 vases (6 along the bottom and 2 on the hanging shelves) and 3 hanging baskets (1 on each side of the hanging shelves). The storage area below the board can hold a maximum of 4 cards at a time. The trash area to the right of the board stores any cards trashed during/at the end of the 3rd round. At the end of the game, unused cards from storage and the player board are moved to the trash area.

Cards:

  • Vase Cards - Vase cards are played on available spaces on the player board. Vase cards must be placed in the trash if there is no room for placement on the board or in storage. the image on the vase depicts the specific flower arrangement that can be placed into the vase. White flower are wild and may be represented by any flower. The flower card placed in a vase must fully match the depicted image on the vase to be placed there. Vase cards are worth FP equal to the number of petals at the base of the card.
  • Flower Cards - Flower cards are placed in vases by tucking it behind a Vase card (showing the flowers) ONLY if this Flower card meets the FULL need of the Vase AND the Vase is empty. Otherwise, put this card in Storage (or the Trash if Storage is full.)
  • Salary Cards - Salary cards are automatically added to your register after selection is confirmed. Salary cards are used to purchase hanging baskets or to redraw the last card drafted in a round.
  • Hanging Basket Cards - Hanging basket cards are purchased with salary cards and placed in 1 of 3 spots for hanging baskets. Previously placed cards can be replaced with a new card if desired, the original card is placed in the trash when replaced. Hanging Basket cards are worth the FP shown on them.
  • Order Cards - Order cards can be used to sell flowers and/or the vase for money. To play an order card, choose the flower(s) to be sold. Players earn $3/4/5 for 1/2/3 flowers sold, and/or earn $2 for each vase sold. Sold cards can come from the window or storage area.

Round Structure

Three rounds are played by dealing 7 cards to each player to draft cards from.

During each round, players will:

  1. Draft a card from their hand (if there is only 1 card left to draft, players may choose to spend $2 to draw a new card)
  2. Choose to play, store, or trash the card (the gain money card is played automatically)
  3. Play a card from their storage (optional)
  4. Pass the cards to the next player (each round, the cards are passed in the opposite direction of the previous round)
  5. Repeat these steps until all cards have been drafted.

Game End

After the end of the 3rd round, the game ends. All unused cards in the player's board and storage areas are moved to the player's trash.
