The Deck
53 cards, one regular deck plus a joker
A number of cards will be removed so that the total deck can be equally divided amongst the number of players. e.g. In a three player game, two cards are removed leaving 51 cards (17 x 3 players)
The exact cards removed from the game are noted in a bar across the top of the screen.
Card Rank
(Highest to Lowest)
Joker
Ace of Spades
Hearts (A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2)
Other cards (A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2)
Deal
4 cards are dealt to each player
The remainder of the deck is placed face up in the center of the table, except the top card which is face down.

Play

Leading - The first player must not lead a joker, spade, or heart, if possible. If not possible, they can pick any card and play it face down. This face down card is not eligible to win the trick. [how is this followed? anything playable since they do not know, I think?]
Following - All players then follow suit, if possible. If not possible, they can play any card.
The winner is determined based on the card rank noted above. The winner collects the cards for their personal score pile for the round.
One new card is drawn for each player based on the following rules: [TBA]
The winner leads the next trick.
