Grandmaster
Grandmaster is an abstract game played on an 8x8 board the goal is to capture 17 points of you opponents pieces.
Setup
The board is made up of 64 tiles. The gameboard is created by laying out the board in an 8x8 grid. The red arrows may not face a corner. First player will choose a side and then the pieces 1-8 are placed on the back row with a row of pawns in front of them.
Turns
On your turn you may move a pawn or a grandmaster. Pawns move one space directly forward or they can capture by moving diagonal. Grandmasters can move as far as they like, but only in the directions the arrows of the space they are on allow. They may not pass over another piece, they may capture an enemy piece by landing on it.
Promotion
A pawn reaching the back row is promoted to a zero point grandmaster. Meaning it has no value to the opponent for capturing it, but a much greater range of motion than it previously had.
End Of Game
The game ends immediately when someone has captured 17 or more points of the opponents pieces
