Truth: each kind of bird (flamingo, duck, etc.) can make a MAX of 3 small flocks or 2 big flocks per deck.
Now, are there still enough birds to complete your flock?
- Tip: take a look at your and your opponents' flocks to decide whether to go for 3 flocks each of 2 bird species, or 1 flock each of 7 bird species. If a player has already collected a flock of a bird species, you won't be able to collect the 3 flocks you'll need.
Collecting Strategy: When collecting, consider other birds that could complete your & your opponent's next moves as well as your flock. If there are no good moves, better to draw or get a new hand - this discards your opponent's cards too, plus gives you 8 new cards and an extra move.
