UI help: At the bottom of the board is a button to toggle player hand float/anchor. Beneath the trophies is a toggle for award choies. At the bottom right of the field that toggles permanent visiblity of breeding outcomes. The pepper next to the recipes toggles a mode that indicates which peppers you still need before you can fill a recipe.
On your turn: You MUST plant a pepper. You MUST move. Turn order is 1 to 6 for planting, 6 to 1 for harvesting, 1 to 6 for fulfillment. If players tie on a bid, the player who previously planted first gets priority. If players bid nothing, they get moved to the highest (1 being highest) open slot in previous turn order (1 to 6).
Only one of each market/recipe/planting award can be acquired each round. Similarly only one color of pepper may be sold. You may use peppers acquired from the market to fulfill recipes in the same round.
Bonus cards are worth 4pts at game end; coins are worth 1pt/3 coins. Since player hands are hidden, neither are part of the score calculated during the game.
Game End Conditions (checked at round end):
Morning: If recipe count < player count, only one more round is played. Afternoon: If recipe or market count < player count, one more round is played. If recipe AND market count < player count, game ends immediately.
FYI:
The "available cards" button is intended as an alternative to hover-over pop-ups, which aren't as nice in mobile form.
LABS Expansion adds 12 recipe and 12 market cards; players get an additional bonus planting token and no awards are removed at low player count.
