First Turn

When the game begins, 3 goal cards will be revealed, each player is dealt a hand of 3 mushroom cards and must place their first seedling in one of the central 4 slots starting with the first player. If there are unclaimed slots, those are filled with place holders and cannot be played on.

Strategy

3 Trees

In order to end the game, a player must absorb at least one carbon on 9 separate turns. An aggressive strategy which ends the game in the fewest possible turns and seedlings will result in the player growing 3 trees and solely absorbing their carbon via the Absorb action.
