Overview
- Players take turns to place volcano tiles and settlements on an island emerging in the South Pacific.
- The first player to build all their buildings of two types wins.
Tile: 3 hexagonal spaces; one volcano and two other terrain types (from most common to least: jungle, clearing, sand, rock, lake).
Settlement: a group of buildings of the same colour on adjacent spaces.

Game play
Place A Tile
- A tile is randomly selected.
- Select the space and orientation of the volcano.
Expand the landscape
Place the tile touching at least one edge of an existing 1st-level tile.
Volcanic eruption
- Place the volcano space on top of an existing volcano.
- Any covered are destroyed and remain out of play.
Restrictions:
- Must have the volcano in a different direction.
- Must have spaces under both its terrain spaces.
- Cannot destroy or an entire settlement.
Place Buildings
Place buildings on empty terrain space(s) of any one terrain type (not volcanoes):
Note: You are allowed to build in such a way that two of your settlements join together, such that there are more than

Build a Hut
- Place on a 1st-level space not adjacent to any of your existing settlements.
Build a Temple

Game end
