Slow and steady wins the FLIP!...

There are 12 copies of the "12" card, 11 copies of the "11", etc. There is only one "1" and one "0", and therefore aren't possible to dupe. So if your hand mostly has low cards, you can risk going for more turns. The deck has a number on it showing remaining number of cards before a reshuffle. Remember the numbers that have been discarded / used, to know if you should take another card.

Don't get too greedy. 3 cards is pretty good, especially if they are high numbers with lots of duplicates! Around 30 points per round is decent. 40+ is VERY good.

IF the opponents have busted and you are the only one with points - take them, even if it's not much. Any advantage = take it!

The FREEZE card - give that to the competitor with the highest total number of points. If someone already has 3 cards, they probably will end their turn or freeze themselves. There is likely no need to freeze them. Remember that if YOU are the only player left when you get a Freeze card, then YOU get frozen.

The FLIP 3 card - If you have no cards, take it yourself. If someone else has 2 or 3 cards already, there is a good chance they will bust / duplicate, so give it to them.

Often, decisions are made based on who is ahead of you in points. Penalize the leaders to stay in the race.

If someone is about to win at the end of a round (i.e. they have 200+) - - note where you will fall in order. It is better to take 2nd place, than to risk trying to get 7 cards and bust (if you care about ELO's, that is).

If you get the 2x card - be careful overplaying. It may be best to take the double points with 2 cards already, rather than risk losing it.
