OBJECTIVE OF SLOBBERHANNES: To avoid being the first player to reach 0 points
Slobberhannes uses a 32 card deck that ranges from 7 low up through Ace high.
Beginning with the player who cut the highest card, they choose any card from their hand and play it face up on the table. Continuing left, each player must play a card that matches the lead-card’s suit if they can. If they cannot, they are allowed to play any card they want. Whoever plays the highest card in the suit that was led captures the trick. The trick-winner leads.
Players earn penalty points for capturing the first trick, the last trick, and the Queen of Clubs. If the same player captures all three, they earn an additional penalty point.
