Color Jam is a puzzle-y coloring game with no winners or losers. Instead, players will create art through play, discovery, personal goals, and evolving preferences as they color. In a multiplayer setting, players may find their goals and preferences overlap or diverge during and before play, leading to surprising outcomes and works of art. Sometimes due to player choices or the puzzle of the game, odd color choices are inescapable. Can you change the story of the picture to fit surprising colors?

-Setting Up the Game-

1.) Choose the picture you want to color.

2.) Consider writing in some challenges you'd like to accomplish while coloring. Some ideas for challenges are provided at the start to inspire you. Challenges are not required but helpful in guiding decisions during play.

3.) Choose six colors for coloring the picture. In a multiplayer game, players will take turns choosing colors until six total have been chosen. It's recommended to pick colors that inspire you or match the challenges you've made for yourself.

4.) Take turns coloring ★ spaces until 2 ★ spaces are colored in.

-Playing the Game-

To color a space on BGA, you'll need to select the crayon you wish to use to color, then a matching space, and then finally select the style of how you want the space colored.

Take turns coloring one space, with the following restrictions:

1.) You can only color in a space if it’s touching a space that’s already colored.

2.) The color's number must match the space's number. (★ spaces can be any color!)

3.) The color you just used becomes the new 6, pushing all colors that were previously above it to a lower number.

-Ending the Game-

When the game ends, decide how you feel about the challenges you made in relation to the finished picture. Select the emoji the resonates with your results for each challenge.

Your picture will be digitally framed, and you'll be able to share your cool art with others! No matter what the results are, you made something special.
