Always remember the rules of penalty:
1pt for 9 cards or less
2pt for 10~12 cards
3pt for 13 cards
Minimize loss
Do not Obsess with 5-card combo if it will break most of high pairs
Make any 5-cards combo or pairs ASAP whenever your starting hand had very few Kings, Aces or 2s
If any opponents had a hand of 5-6 cards, all in until 9 cards or less, he/she might have 5card combo (then end the round with a last card).
