Overview

The game ends after all 7 temple columns have been constructed with 5 stones in each. Players have either white or black stones.

Turn

On your turn, you have two options:

  • 1. Take 1-3 stones (either 3 of your own colour, 2 of the neutral grey or 1 of your opponent's colour), from the Quarry into your Workshop, which can hold up to 3 stones.
  • 2. Place a stone from your Workshop onto a temple column, and possibly carry out a Bonus Action.

Column Bonus Actions

Each column / temple location (α, β, γ, δ, π, Σ, Ω) has its own Bonus Action that a player can take IF they supplied their own stone (right click/tap and hold/hover to see a tooltip with info for each column location). If a Bonus Action causes changes to (an)other column(s), no additional bonus from the other adjusted column(s) is provided

Location α:

The player who places a stone of their color in these locations may move the top Gray color stone of the column at a different temple location to a third different — and valid — temple location.

Location β:

The player who places a stone of their color in these locations may move the top White color stone of the column at a different temple location to a third different — and valid — temple location.

Location γ:

The player who places a stone of their color in this location may return the top stone (of any color) of the column from a different temple location back to the Quarry.

Location δ:

The player who places a stone of their color in this location may move a stone (of any color) from the Quarry to their own workshop; the player must have room for it in their workshop.

Location π:

The player who places a stone of their color in this location may move a stone (of any color) from their rival's workshop to their own workshop; the player must have room for it in their workshop.

Location Σ:

The player who places a stone of their color in this location may place a stone (of any color) from their own workshop to another valid temple location.

Location Ω:

The player who places a stone of their color in these locations may move the top Black color stone of the column at a different temple location to a third different — and valid — temple location.

Game End and Scoring

The game ends when all 7 columns are completed, with 5 stones on each.

  • 1. Each column is scored independently, whoever has the most stones of their colour in that column wins the column.
  • 2. Each column scores for the winner as follows:

1 VP per winner's stone

3 VP per opponent's stone

-2 VP per neutral stone

Thus, it is possible to win a column and score negatively, e.g. 4 neutral stones and 1 of your own stones will give you -7 VP!

The player with the most points after scoring all 7 columns wins.
