Plan cards - drying & roasting
Placing action squares for drying (B) and roasting (C) locations next to each other allows you to do more with each action. Drying and roasting capacity are often the limiting factors, so they are high priority.
Actions - coffee cups & ships
It's also usually worth paying cubes to get more coffee cups to increase the number of actions per turn.
If you can easily get 2 ship squares it will save some cubes, but it is often not worth sacrificing better Plan Cards (with coffee cups, cafes, drying and burning) to get ships, and even just using 2 squares for ships instead of other purposes.
Scoring - warehouse vs. cafés
