Game Summary

Each player starts with solid tile of their colour (e.g. red starts with the RRRR tile)

Take it in turns picking a tile from the bag and legally playing it. This means that edges of the tile you play must be the same colour as any tiles adjacent to it. You can play on your or any other grid and must play if you can.

Black squares can be any colour (e.g. it can play as red to the east and green to the south)

The aim of the game is to have the most of your colour on your grid

The Discard Zone

If you pick a tile that cannot be played, it goes into the discard zone (a big empty space on your table!) You must then try and play a tile from the discard zone and if you can’t your turn ends & play continues to the left.

End of the Game

The game ends immediately when one player completes their grid. Scoring is then tallied up.

Scoring

The player with the highest score wins.

+1pt is awarded for each quadrant of your colour on your grid.

If you are the first to complete the grid, you get an additional 10 points.

+10pts are awarded for a completed column or row of your colour as long as it is two tiles or more & the length or width of your grid
