Upgrades - consider carefully which sheet you want to upgrade, and at which time. First sheet increases HP pool. Second sheet increases Armor. Third sheet increases XP gain for killing monsters.
Role - figure out what your class does best, and do it! Work as a team!
When possible, split the damage by going to the same peril as a teammate.
Death isn't the end of the world. You revive the next turn (through a forced 3-action).
