Goal of the game

To 'win' the majority of the directions.

Setup

The board is a hexhex board, usually with a side of 5 hexes and starts initially empty.

A few cells in the board are already marked with a neutral colour and cannot be used; they are there to leave an odd number of cells in each line and avoid a tie at any level.

Each player plays a colour and has enough pieces of that colour.

Player turn

  1. The first player places one piece on any cell,
  2. then players take turns placing two pieces each per turn on empty cells.

End of game

The game ends when the board is filled. Then:

  • A majority of stones in a line wins that line.
  • A majority of parallel lines in each of the 3 directions wins that direction.
  • A majority of directions wins the game.
