When the game starts, each player is randomly assigned one card - a different color for each player.

Players perform one of the following actions each turn:

  • draw a new card and put it in one of the rows (there are as many rows as players)
  • take a row of cards

When a player takes a row, his or her turn is skipped until all players have taken a row. Then a new round starts, and players can again fill rows with cards.

There are seven colors of chameleon cards (six for three-player games) and three kinds of special cards: Joker, "+2" and "Last round". There are nine cards of each color in play, three jokers, ten "+2" cards, and one "Last round" card.

When a player draws a chameleon card, they add it to their set of cards of that color. The more cards of that color the player has, the more points it is worth. The largest three sets add that many points, remaining sets remove that many points.

The Joker (chameleon with many-colored background) can be put into any set at the end of the round.

The "+2" card always gives you 2 bonus points at the end of the round. It is never a part of a set.

When a player draws the "Last round" card, the game finishes at the end of the current round. The player who drew the "Last round" card puts it away and immediately draws another card.

The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game.

Please refer to the table shown in the game (bottom-left) for size of sets and the points allocated. This will be different depending on the scoring mode.

When difficult scoring mode is enabled, you need to check the size of the card sets does not exceed 3. As sets increase, the points decrease which may cause confusion for those new to this scoring mode.
