Mountain Goats

Make the most of the dice to move your goat up the mountain.

Take full advantage of rolling more than one 1 die, which allows you to change extra 1 dice to a number of your choice.

If you're at the top of a mountain, you can claim another Point Token by making the number on the dice again. You must click your goat to get the points.

Another goat reaching the top of your mountain will knock your goat straight to the bottom. It may be best to rush and claim as much Point Tokens on the mountain before you fall off, if you will think you want more of that mountain's Point Tokens soon.

If there are no Point Tokens left, there is no point in making that number. Similarly, if you're going for Bonus Tokens, and Point Tokens are all taken on some mountains, you should focus on making numbers for mountains where you are below the highest amount of Bonus Tokens you can get for the game.

You need a Point Token from each mountain to make a bonus. Make sure to claim Point Tokens from a mountain before they run out, if you plan to complete a set for Bonus Tokens!

It may be a strategy to empty the Point Tokens from a mountain if the other player doesn't have one. This will block them from getting Bonus Tokens, or at least restrict the amount they can get.

Once all the bonus tiles are gone, or three mountain point piles run out, the game finishes. This can happen rather suddenly!

If you are behind, make sure not to seal your fate by clearing the third Point Token pile or fourth Bonus Token. The BGA game will ask you to confirm your move if you can still make numbers with the remaining dice, but making those numbers with the dice is not a good idea in this instance. If you are in the lead, claim your victory as soon as safely possible.
