Grumbling makes you stronger!

Buy polyominoes with lots of grumbles first, so you can buy more polyominoes or perpetuals early in the game.

Sometimes spending 2 hearts to move your die to an adjacent spot with more grumbles is wise on the first turn or two.

Remember, you can always spend grumbles to gain hearts by banishing polyominoes (especially once your grid is mostly full).

Polyominominooooo!

Place lots of attacks in the same row or column. Having them all spread out won’t do much damage once rivals have shields…

If you make Row 4 really strong, then don’t try to make column 4 as strong. It will give you the most options with your dice roll if your strongest rows are different numbers than your strongest columns.

Place polyominoes to fill a row and column early in the game to unlock your power and superpower. Each golem has abilities that are more or less powerful depending on player count, so take that into consideration.

How will you Wield?

Always glance at the rivals active and perpetual shields before deciding who to attack. Should you attack the rival who is the weakest (least shields) or the one that is the biggest threat to you (optimized grid or most health).
