Objective

The goal of the Guibole is to score the less possible points during a game.

Playing the game

Number of players : 2-6 players.

Guibole is played with a standard 52-card deck. The cards points values are as follow:

  • A = 1
  • 2 = 2
  • ...
  • 10, J, Q, K = 10

Cards are dealt one at a time clockwise until all cards have been dealt. And another card is discarded.

When it's your turn to play, you have two possibilities:

  • show your cards, if you have 10 points or less in your hand to end the round.
  • discard a card (or multiple of same value) and take the first card from the pile or the last discarded card before yours.

Note: showing your cards by having more than 10 points makes you loose the round.

End of the game

The game will continue until a player loose all his points.

Points

Each player starts with a certain amount of points (depending of the game length).

If you showed your cards and: - nobody have equals or less points than you, you don't loose any points. Other players loose the points in their hand.

Example: Bob announce 6 points, Alice have 8 points in hand and Peter 12. Bob don't loose points. Alice loose 8 and Peter 12 points.

- Anybody have equals or less points than you, you loose the points in your hand * 2 + 25 points. The players who countered don't loose points. Other players loose the points in their hand.
