Bobail is a two-player african strategy board game played on a square board arranged in an 5x5 grid.

Each player has 5 tokens. One plays the red tokens, and the other player plays the green tokens.
Bobail is a two-player African strategy game. It is played on a square board arranged in a 5x5 grid.  
There's also an extra yellow token called the Bobail placed in the center of the board.


The winner is the player who capture the Bobail. To do so, the Bobail need to be moved on the player's nearest horizontal row.  
Each player has 5 tokens: one player moves the red tokens, and the other player moves the green tokens.


On each turn, a player must do the following two actions in this specific order :
A neutral yellow token, called the Bobail, is moved around the board by both players.


1. Move the Bobail (except for the first turn of the first player)
Tokens can move in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal direction. Tokens cannot jump over other tokens.


It moves one square in any direction. If the Bobail cannot be moved, the game is lost by the player.
The winner is the player who captures the Bobail by moving it onto their home row, or by surrounding the Bobail on all sides so it cannot move.

A token move  in any direction to the furthest square, but cannot leap over other tokens.
At the beginning of the game, each player's tokens are lined up in their home row.
 
The yellow Bobail is placed in the center of the board.
 
== Turn Actions ==
 
On the first turn of the game, the first player only performs turn action 2 (Move one of the player tokens).
 
On every turn thereafter, a player must perform the following two turn actions in this specific order:

: The player moves the Bobail one square in any direction.

: The player moves one of their player tokens, as far as it can go in any one direction.
