Suits are mainly for tiebreakers, with high card only winning most tricks regardless of suit

If tied for highest card, the suits win as follows:

Fire wins against Wood

Wood wins against Water

Water wins against Fire

The starting player is bid on in the same manner as winning tricks outlined above, the card used to bid for start player is lost for actual gameplay

The start player picks a gem and this is the gem which will be won this round and also determines the colour (suit) of the cards to be played

You must play a card matching the lead suit if able, otherwise feel free to play another

The winner of the trick chooses the next gem to play for

===Rounds===

At the end of 5 turns, your hands will be empty, so reshuffle and start again with bidding for start player

There can be up to 3 rounds

===Game End===

The game ends on one of three ways:

1) The third round is complete

2) All gems of one colour have been taken

3) One player has a pair of each colour gem, and outright wins

===Scoring===

If there wasn't an outright win by the third method, a scoring phase will commence:

Each set of 1 Green, 1 Blue, 1 Red gem gains you 1 point

Unmatched (Red/Green or Blue/Red or Blue/Green) pairs not assigned to the above scoring system gives you negative 2 points

Any left over gems not assigned to either of the above two scoring systems give you points equal to the amount remaining in the supply

If there's a tie, the player with the most gems total wins
